This assessment tool has been developed by the West Sussex mathematics team. It is based on the National Curriculum statements of attainment, as well as the Framework for teaching mathematics objectives, and supports teachers in making sublevel judgements for each of the levels 1 to 5. It links with Assessing Pupils Progress (APP) materials.
