School Crossing Patrols

Lollipop Line Up!

School Crossing Patrols (‘Lollipop’ men and ladies) are employed where the traffic is so busy that artificial gaps are needed to help parents and their children cross roads. The responsibility for ensuring children are safe when walking between home and school always rests with parents, even where school crossing patrols are employed.

Currently, patrols are employed at over 130 sites in the County, serving parents and their children attending more than 150 schools.

School Crossing Patrols play an important part in the life of the community. There is often a need in the area for patrols or for reserves to cover absence. If you would are interested in being part of this worthwhile service, please contact:
