School Closures

The responsibility for making the decision to close a school because of weather conditions or any other emergency is ultimately the Headteacher's in consultation with the Chair of Governors. Headteachers will make direct contact with the local radio stations to give them messages about any closures.

When notification is received from schools concerning any emergency closures, the information will be posted on these pages. Please be aware that this information may not give the latest position on re-opening - pages can only be updated as and when new information is received. Schools have also been asked, where possible, to keep their own websites updated.
