A key aim of the School Organisation and Development Team is to ensure that there are sufficient numbers of primary and secondary school places in West Sussex without there being an excess of surplus places.
This will enable maximum resources to be directed to teaching and learning. To this end the team will take forward proposals for school reorganisations to the point where approval from the Cabinet Member for Children and Young People or the Schools Adjudicator has been secured, thereby making the provision of school places as efficient as possible.
