Trees for Shade 2008/09

Trees
This summer may not have been particularly hot and sunny but the long term trend is towards hotter, drier summers. Sports days have been cancelled in recent years because it was too hot. Can you recall most of your students staying indoors during lunch breaks because of the burning sun and not enough shade being available? If this was the case please contact the Grounds Maintenance and Development Office on 01243 777004.

However, you can also help to change this by planting Trees for Shade in your school grounds for the future.

Find out more about the scheme by clicking on the links below and apply online now.
