We offer advice and guidance to the parents of children who have special educational needs, we provide information on:
- The special educational needs process
- The responsibilities of the local authority, schools, other agencies and parents
- Statutory assessments and statements
- Annual reviews
- Working towards resolving differences
- Appeals and Tribunal procedures
We also offer guidance about parents' rights and their obligations concerning special educational needs. We can put parents in touch with local voluntary groups dealing with the particular difficulty their child is experiencing, for information, support and advice.
