The Professional Learning Academy will bring together two strands of research;
- the research undertaken by those in West Sussex so as to disseminate and network professional knowledge across the children’s service
- the research that is available to support those working in West Sussex Children’s Service to support their professional development.
This will build on the current research undertaken by West Sussex teachers and headteachers into opportunities for interdisciplinary enquiries; some of these will have opportunities for accreditation. It will also collate the developing evidence base of research into multi agency working in order to make this more accessible.
