The Innovation and Knowledge Forum coordinate information that supports the work of schools and the CYPS.
The Forum works with teams across the service and schools to gather ideas and opinions and develop new and effective ways of working. The group also researches national and international good practice to inform innovations.
Since its inception the Forum has organised Learning Days for the service responding to continuing professional development. These days were shaped by the Adult Learning Guidance. The forum has also produced an integrated School Visit Report database on the West Sussex Grid for Learning. The database can be accessed by the service and also by schools. The group is currently producing displays about the organisation to inform the service and schools.
The Forum is now implementing a joint calendar for the whole of Learning and a calendar for Headteachers providing them with advance notice of key dates and meetings.
