Children's Information Service (CIS)

The Children's Information Service (CIS) provides free, impartial, confidential and up-to-date information on childcare to parents and carers in West Sussex. Children can be aged from birth to 14 years or 16 for children with additional support needs. The CIS holds information on all registered provision, see the childcare provision link below. Our Information Assistants are also happy to offer guidance on all forms of informal childcare and activities, e.g. parent/Toddler Groups and Toy Libraries, and also have information on other family support services.We are the only source of information on registered childcare received directly from Ofsted.
