Opportunities are available for accrediting professional practice though our partnership with local universities and can be based on involvement in CYPS events and programmes, both central and school based. The University of Chichester also accredits specific programmes through their portfolio based and practitioner research modules.
We are currently working with universities to bid for funding for postgraduate professional development for 2008-11 to address the national priorities for CPD as set out below for 2007-10.
- Pedagogy - behaviour management - subject knowledge - supporting curriculum change
- Personalisation - equality and diversity - special educational needs (SEN) and disability
- People - working with other professionals - school leadership.
